Cheetahs also have a narrow gene pool due to past bottlenecks, yet they have subspecies. In zoology, "race" and "subspecies" are often used interchangeably. It's only with humans that this is problematic, and it's obviously due to ideological controversies, not science.

Twin studies and adoption studies are highly flawed. GWAS can't show causation.

Yes, and skin color, height, weight, sprinting ability, swimming ability, etc. are all randomly distributed across all human groups too
-
Those are verifiable traits with actual tests for them which is a far cry from IQ.
-
Is "ability to build / maintain complex civilizations" in the aggregate not enough of a test of the individuals involved? So we scrap the concept of IQ. So what? Blacks are still just "dumb" and "aggressive" compared to whites. At least at the layman's psychometric level.
-
What causes aggressive behavior? Why that and not this as 'tests of intelligence'?
-
Free testosterone combined with some other genes. Aggression and inability to verbalize. I'm not sold on IQ either. I read some of your essays and I see your point. I also saw "dumb" blacks sell phone books inside computer boxes to "smart" white folks in the hood frequently.
-
Aggression causes testosterone production, testosterone doesn't cause aggression. https://notpoliticallycorrect.me/2018/01/28/race-testosterone-aggression-and-prostate-cancer/ … IQ tests wouldn't account for phenomena like that.
