The genetic class differences are due to genetic stratification. There are genetic differences between classes that are irrelevant to cognitive ability and educational attainment. No evidence exists that genes cause individual differences in IQ scores.

I smell a false dichotomy: either a strict meritocracy, or a society in which merit has no consequence. Most societies (probably all) do not fit in either of those categories, but lie somewhere in between.

I would hope not. But it behooves the ruling class to circulate ideas that the poor are poor because they are dumb and lazy, or, as you would contend, "low IQ." The reality is more complicated and vertical class movement is limited by multiple factors. I take a biocultural view
