Even I still often make the mistake thinking that the argument might be won by being sweet and agreeable. The other side has long been violating every rule and taking no prisoners.

It’s not about being sweet and agreeable. It’s about being intellectually honest and arguing in good faith. If you disregard any evidence I present because “degrees are meaningless” and make broad claims based on anecdote we can’t agree.

They're not mutually exclusive... These are complicated topics. Subconscious bias is just one piece of the puzzle. That's why people study these disparities. Your argument is that people who want to address racial disparities just want to eliminate white people...

okay, so tech companies have decided that increased diversity is a boon to their business. Companies that welcome diverse opinions will be more successful and be able to hire more people, including more white people. Economics is not a zero sum game.
