but clearly it is also faced by their best who are not hired proportionally to their graduation rates... As for the "going-nowhere-fast" folks. Isn't that the case w/ all low-income jobs in america due to issues of class mobility and income inequality? I'm not following.
He has no idea what he's talking about. He sees disproportionate rates and simply assumes discrimination is taking place. Completely hopeless.

I also despair its hopelessness. Twitter's 140 - 280 characters are a difficult forum for a discussion much less a debate, where the objection: "Citation please..." is most commonly used as a rebuttal when one lakes substance for any counter-argument.

When somebody patiently presents serious evidence in an almost cringingly apologetic fashion like James Damore did, it never matters. Assumptions are so divergent in people's "faith based" perspectives that evidence and science can't make a difference.
-
I literally cringed reading Damore's paper due to that apologetic style. He had good material there, but he didn't do himself any good by accepting their framing so much.
-
Even I still often make the mistake thinking that the argument might be won by being sweet and agreeable. The other side has long been violating every rule and taking no prisoners.
-
It’s not about being sweet and agreeable. It’s about being intellectually honest and arguing in good faith. If you disregard any evidence I present because “degrees are meaningless” and make broad claims based on anecdote we can’t agree.
-
And yet you disregard the sweet and agreeable Damore... Where's your rebuttal? "Citations please!"
-
What point do you want me to rebut?

Why do you keep assuming that disparities between groups are due to bias rather than the natural result of biological and cultural differences between groups?
