Virtual property in video games will actually be a better way of transferring value without oversight than Bitcoin will end up being.

I haven't thought about virtual property much in several years, but it should not be overlooked as something that can do at least some of what people are using cryptocurrencies for.

Video game makers have mostly overlooked and/or intentionally suppressed this market, and it doesn't help that ebay banned auctions of virtual goods about a decade ago.
