There are lots of disputes about South African crime stats, but the following seems clear: 1. Murders skyrocketed after apartheid ended in 1994, particularly black-on-white 2. Farm murders (rural home invasion murders, mostly white victims) are rare in the US but not rare in SA

Beyond that there are a lot of varying claims about statistics, and I can't tell exactly what's true.

What a stupid thing to say, Apartheid afforded white people with certain opportunities that are deliberately taken away from black people (including land) while systematically oppressing and killing blacks
-
Apartheid is the only way a majority black population can enjoy all the benefits of living in a first-world country. Throughout this time of "oppression" there was a constant stream of blacks trying to get INTO South Africa.
-
The assumption that black people were set out to murder white people from the get go and that apartheid was simply mechanism to prevent this, is just laughable
-
Actual crime and murder rates say otherwise
