I am not a geneticist, but this is how I understand it. Correct me if I'm wrong. How two people who are 99% White can have 100% White babies, and will eventually: DNA can be smaller than 1%, but for simplicity, we will use 1%. Imagine two 99% White people. Here they are:pic.twitter.com/cFVzERQW9J

The child has half the genes from mom, and half from dad. Let's say it inherits the dots from the red boxes, and it becomes 100% White.pic.twitter.com/npo1eWMqzG

Now there is the likelihood that it ends up getting one of the black dots, resulting in it being the same as it's parents, 99% White:pic.twitter.com/H7aMBZpi4W

And there is the unlikelihood that it gets both black dots, being LESS White than either parent. This is rare, and it will eventually reverse over generations.pic.twitter.com/X05OAFDAci

So, in the end, a country where everyone is 99% White will eventually become 100% White. Now, am I COMPLETELY WRONG on this? Because this is my current impression. And 23&Me says you can get rid of POC DNA even from a 100% POC within just FIVE generations.pic.twitter.com/eXuijE6fAU

Yeah this is wrong. Let's say your whole population in 1% x and 99% y. With random mating and no selection, your gene pool will stay 1% x and 99% y, but the distribution will change so that some people have 1.5% x and others have .5% x. The total percent of x won't decline.

Add some selection in and you can get rid of the x, or maybe the x is useful and specific parts of it spread throughout the population. Tibetans have certain altitude adaptations that came from more ancient groups, for example.
