I should clarify - it's a real issue for many/most people, but it doesn't have to be. I find it superficial, much more interested in culture and ideology. I like white people fine, but don't want to live in a country that self-identifies as white.

Not much - I assume they are a reflection of the effectiveness of the racial narrative?

Blacks have voted consistently 80%+ for Democrats for decades. Whites have voted for Republicans for decades. Hispanics have voted 60%+ for Dems for decades. Voting blocks are very consistent.
