True but getting bullied and then getting in trouble for standing up for yourself leads to anger problems. Both do actually, no win.

People who are bullied usually can't avoid the bully. So you need to put an end to it.

In the typical situation of one small kid vs. one or more larger bullies, merely punching the bully will typically lead to a fight in which the victim loses big. Scaling up weaponry has big risks, too. Best to avoid or get others to fight usually.

Or, learn how to trash someone when necessary.

People keep acting like this whole issue is *so easy*. "Just punch the bully". It's not. Kids have tried that already.

I don't think many do. And it isn't necessary to "win" the fight to stop the bullying.

I have to agree with you. The key is not being a target. If the bully has to try to kick your ass, then he loses status.
