Dna gets talked about as if it's the sole unit of heredity. That's not true. New definitions don't even talk about dna being a unit of heredity.

It's certainly possible and there are mechanisms for it. I'd like to see Coyne respond in peer reviewed journals to Nobel, Jablonka and Lamb. It'd be more interesting than blog posts

As there is a lot of pressure on the people who push and won't even extend the MS. I've not decided where I stand yet, either extension or the replacement. However I do believe the naysayers like Coyne will eat their words soon enough.
