The problem with gab is that it isn't a battleground in the culture war. On twitter you can counter the narrative in ways that reach normies. Gab needs a lot more interesting content before normies will use it.

I'm not sure normies will stay on Twitter for that long the way things are going.
-
Some will leave, but a lot of them are here to share their shitlib opinions and fawn over celebrities. Giving them cognitive dissonance is important. It won't convert them, but it weakens their faith.
-
Making celebrities look stupid in front of their audience is very important.
-
Yes it is, definitely. I'm just thinking about why people suddenly leave social networks. Abandonment of sites has happened before. I could see people suddenly leaving Twitter due to censorship.

Are you active on gab? Is it worth switching over ?
-
I'm thinking of becoming active there
-
Been meaning to check it out but have always put it off thinking there wouldn't be anyone to talk to there.
-
Definitely quieter, but there doesn't seem to be algorithms hiding your friends.
