You say that the state is necessary to protect property. That isn't true. People would do it on their own without a state.

Question is who gets to redefine whom? Capitalism has a model "state" just as the state has a model of "capitalism" each to its convenience.

I suppose the problem is when the people enforcing the property rights (ie govt or individuals in anarchy) and the people controlling the property are the same. Seems to work better when these functions aren't in the same hands (as they are in communism)
