You're thinking about two different things. IBD vs ROH.
IBD = inbreeding? Inbreeding should lead to longer runs of homozygosity, the most recent the longer.
Identity by descent. It's a way of assessing overall genetic variation in a population. Inbreeding doesn't affect it much.
Overall though, I suppose I'm a little surprised that the more recent differences in marriage practices appear to be pretty small compared to the initial dispersal.
