No, that's not true. Your genetic similarity to a random person is about 99.5%. Your genetic similarity to your own child is not much diff.

We don't care about our children because they are genetically close to us. We care about them because they are the way we reproduce.

It is adaptive to love your multiracial child more than a random person of your race. A gene causing the former will be selected for.
