I didn't see the speech tonight, but I heard: 1. Merit-based immigration 2. Big defense spending increase
-
-
Of course I'll be happy for any improvement. As for defense spending, I think increases are an unnecessary drain on Americans.
-
Anything else of interest from the alt-right perspective?

@HbdNrx merit-based immigration is in place right now. The key word "immigration". Muslims come as "refugees". Tons of others - illegals. -
.
@HbdNrx It's amazing how many on the right don't get this: US immigration laws are STRICT. Invaders (illegals) simply break them. -
refugees are a type of immigrant, and even much of the legal "merit-based" immigration is not actually very merit based
-
we can argue about semantics, but don't forget that there are different laws for those different types of immigration.
-
while you can regulate your country laws on immigration (somewhat). The Refugee Laws are regulated on a global level only.
-
Meaning, one country can't simply say "I'm not taking refugees" without international repercussions.
-
I wouldn't be worried about the international repercussions
