Can't say I'm too excited about the proposed education secretary unless he or she intends to completely purge shitlibs from the field.
yeah I don't know much about her, but she sounds like a normie who supports education
-
-
isn't a lot of the education failure on account of "garbage in, garbage out"?
-
yes. There's way too much of an idea that we can just put in more resources and get better results. Doesn't work
-
if anything, we're spending too much on education and devoting too much of society to it
-
I spoke with a retired superintendent, he was angry because 70% of resources spent on bottom 30%. Should be flipped.
-
but total dollars spent is obscene and not paying back.
-
note that costs have skyrocketed, and most of the increase in uni and k-12 is in administration
-
administration: the bane of all government run institutions.

Trump nominated her to return a favor. She's not strong-willed enough to make any sort of change.
-
The Dems are fighting her because they need a few wins to take to their base to avoid getting primaried.
-
great, let them have a win and maybe we'll get someone better
-
My feeling! (And, oh by the way, they will still get primaried. Dem base blames Dem establishment for Trump win.)
-
let them purge all their whites
