Trump said his inaugural crowd was the largest ever? Obviously false. Did he really say that, and if so, why? Standard hyperbole?

Trump's tweet saying he's going to put up a pic of the crowd in the press hall is funny, but the date is wrong.
-
Anyway, one of Trump's strengths is his accuracy vs. the media's. But he needs to be careful about clarity and accurate claims.
-
Unfortunately, the common perception is that he's a liar. Quite ironic considering this is coming from the lying media. How to improve?
-
would be difficult to improve since the media is intent on always making him out to be deceptive
-
common perception comes not only from the media, but also other sources
-
i'm honestly finding it questionable the amount to which that is the case
-
in general, where does groupthink come from? Does the media come before people talking on Facebook? Maybe journalist

based on a time lapse video, that photo is close to the peak of Trump's crowd, so Obama's is definitely bigger

From the snippets I've heard. Media took pic of Trump inauguration crowd put it next to Obama's inauguration crowd...
-
Obama's was bigger. But some are claiming the photos were before the crowds arrived citing later pictures. Who knows who cares.
-
- Later pics show a very full mall. I don't - it's really petty stuff.

It's just the press needle-dicking over minutia in way to undermine the Trump admin. The comparison photos are faulty.
