Trump just doesn't want to be cheated, and he's well aware of some attempts to cheat him. So he's on guard, quite reasonably.

True election results aren't simply whatever happens to be the first count. Sometimes votes aren't counted properly or votes are fraudulent.

It's really too bad Trump didn't say "I will accept the will of the [legal] voters" and leave it at that.

Usually margins are wide enough that counting problems and fraud are implausible as the deciding factor. But occasionally real q's exist
