So we have an interesting divergence within parts of the alt-right: civilization vs. primitivism (as an ideal).
Nevertheless, I have some sympathy for the primitivists, and I think they have some important contributions.

Cutting through many other issues: you say lack of death/suffering is adv of civ, but refusal to allow death/suffering is root prob!

We could conceivably reduce suffering in a way that doesn't mean the destruction of civilization.Most is not actually helpful

Right. But broadly speaking, the "obvious" advantages of tech ppl point to first are the most fundamental source of modern problems!
