It's obvious that the best immigration policy would take into account: 1. Total # 2. IQ 3. Genetic closeness 4. Ideology 5. Specific skills

Since it's important to keep these things simple, personally I'd start with limited # then take IQ test + DNA test and plug into a formula
-
Ideology and skills are more prone to cheating, and are generally less useful, but I would still try to keep out Muslims if possible.
-
Skills are valuable specifically with respect to permanent technology transfer... otherwise, 'raus.

I think you want a full psychological workup - cognitive testing, personality testing
-
likely too easy to cheat/bypass/undermine/fake
-
also too likely to be made by pseudoscientific psychologists and sociologists
-
I mean aside from a good IQ/cognitive test

most would be encompassed in iq?
-
yes, there's a lot of overlap there. Simplest, most administrable is IQ test + DNA test
-
wouldn't want government with dna data of populace, iq only for me.
-
to be fair, just the immigrant applicants
