From what I've seen, we may be better off w/o patents at all than our current system. True reform would dramatically limit patents

True reform would also fundamentally change the relationship between judges and cases. Current procedures need to be scrapped.

That makes sense. The sheer number of patents decided in East Texas is a red flag that something very dubious is going on.

It's just insane that cases can go on for 5 years and cost millions when the whole thing hinges on the definition of one word.
