Few nonwhite authors were shoved into English class for diversity. There may have been a couple, but it wasn't a focus at all.

However, my US history class was positive on Lincoln, women's suffrage, civil rights, and generally the march of progressivism.

My wife says her school spent a month studying Islam. Fortunately this was not the case at my school.
