@HbdNrx then I think we're talking past each other.

@HbdNrx I think probably in the absence of a framework of a vertical mapping of genetics to outcomes, it's racist. -
@HbdNrx do you understand what I mean by that? -
@hythloday We could go through evidence and statistics all day, and you wouldn't be satisfied by any "vertical mapping" -
@HbdNrx Because none exists? No-one can point at a gene and say "that's responsible for 3 points of IQ". -
@hythloday actually there are studies of that nature out there, but you're dramatically limiting the scope of acceptable evidence -
@HbdNrx Can you point me at some? Asking in good faith, when I checked (a decade or so ago) there weren't any. -
@hythloday I think @piffer_davide can point you to some genetic studies of that nature

@HbdNrx the presupposition of genetic evidence, the willingness to overlook statistical biases, the race to "parsimony" - those are racist. -
@hythloday you're obviously biased *against* genetic explanations, but you're complaining about others' alleged bias -
@HbdNrx I think it's unparsimonious (genetics are "real", race is socially constructed) and unscientific (no-one investigates to disprove).
