Communities and nations aren't allowed to select for anyone in particular except for those communities able to price all the poor people out

It's ok to drive prices up so high that only rich people can live there, but it's not ok for a community to protect itself in any other way.

@HbdNrx Yes, the premium to live in South Africa is about 40%. Rest of Africa is higher. Hence the high "expat " salaries.
