I heard they put .1% African in everyone's 23andMe results. Can anyone confirm if this is true?
@TruthWillLive I got <.1% broadly subsaharan African. I wouldn't be surprised if that kind of thing can actually come through Iberian ancest

@TruthWillLive I think it may be true that a lot of whites in the south actually do have 0.1-.5% black in them. -
@HbdNrx Wouldn't it be a larger percentage since it doesn't go back that many generations? -
@TruthWillLive If you have 1 slave ancestor in the early 1800s, that could be 8 generations back. 2^8=256, so about .4% -
