I was a liberal until I realized the full extent of the self-destructiveness of liberalism. Mainstream liberalism also changed since 2000.
@SR71999 Zimmerman was really the final straw for me, too. Prior to that I thought of myself as just a better version of liberal.

@SR71999 all the same here. I wanted a copy of the Bell Curve in 1994 and resented the lib opposition, even. Still, the dark enlightenment.. -

@HbdNrx Part for me may be being a southerner. Not sure. I have changed somewhat, became more trad, but neo-cons still irk me at times.
