Guys, we need to talk about this attitude. (This is related to vinegar, which idk about drining, but it is a topical anti-fungal) Not all things that work have been validated in this way. Folk remedies often have some effectiveness.Sometimes there's just not funding for studieshttps://twitter.com/emtannie/status/1049212241289998336 …

Sometimes patients' best bet is to go read the forums where people talk about their affliction and combine that with searches of the medical literature. Effective treatments sometimes go unnoticed. Sometimes you need to try a few things out. Sometimes something works for a subset

The Official Medical Advice is not always ideal, and patients really do need to be their own (or others') advocates and researchers. I have some experience with this and have personally been responsible for much better results than simply doing what the doctor says.

(I have no idea about drinking vinegar, but if there are enough reports from people that it does something for them, I would at least take that possibility seriously. I do know it can be used effectively as a topical anti-fungal)

Replying to @HbdNrx
Some people need to be told what's healthy by bill Nye and Snopes. Those ppl are puffy, sick, and gross.

I thought you'd appreciate this. I, too, really dislike the attitude displayed in the original quoted tweet. People have too much confidence in the state of official knowledge
