To be fair, the throwing her on the bed, locking the door, and putting a hand over her mouth part is criminal enough if it was actually as bad as described. Of course, memories after that long are likely exaggerated.

Oh I agree that's absolutely possible. That would be something marginally criminal but shouldn't really be.
