Just think of all the laws a GOP congress could have passed: Defund universities Repeal racial preferences against whites Overturn 1965 immigration act Shorten copyright length Ensure online freedom of speech Wall RAISE act etc etc What actually got passed? More of the same.

The GOP had a chance to do something about the diversity industry, but instead did nothing. Better tax reform involving eliminating the income tax would also have been nice.

I know everyone loves military spending, but defunding all the foreign wars and military bases would have been nice, too.

Do not interpret any of this as "it doesn't matter which party controls the House" or "GOP is just as bad as the Dems". Dems are/will be far worse. I just wish the GOP were much better than they are.

I don't know if the Dems will take the House or not, but it seems the future of "no good legislation passes" is what we're getting regardless of which side of the uniparty has the official majority.

Yes, a nominally R congress still didn't bother passing anything worthwhile.

(tbf this has basically been true for decades. When was the last really good law passed by congress?)

I don't think the Dems will take the House. To take the House they'd need 44 seats. On average Dems gain 11 seats.
-
It could go either way, but the polling isn't looking good.

Same polls that said Trump would lose the primary. Pollsters are political operatives. Look at the nonpoll data. CNN viewership is down 44 percent.
