This election is basically over. In November, we could see the Bill Mitchell/Magapede faction completely collapse as their “red wave” fails to materialize. There could be a power vacuum that we need to fill.https://twitter.com/axios/status/1043866323506196480 …

I think there is a positive feedback loop in effect. The press loved his February 2017 speech to Congress which was pretty hard stuff but delivered with a smile. When Trump is crass online, the press exaggerates it, which makes him bantz the press and establishment even more.
-
As much as we may enjoy his style, maybe Trump should stop the tweeting. Most people only hear about his tweeting through the filter of the lying press, thus normies who would otherwise support his policies are scared off.
-
I really do think it would just prevent Trump from getting his message out
-
In any case, if he's going to tweet, his tweets should stay focused on policy and not on stupid fights with celebrities and journalists.
-
I agree with that, although pointing out how certain news is wrong can also be important
-
It’s too late for Trump to change his Twitter policy. Wouldn’t win back any of the people he turned off already and would just disappoint those of us who enjoy it.
