There's your liberal Jewish leader. Note- if a white Republican said that whites shouldn't marry blacks or Jews, the establishment press would cover it for weeks, & s/he sure as hell wouldn't stay a Republican National Committee chairperson.

Personally, I've noticed that Jewish student clubs and identity mean far more to the students in question than Polish or Italian or Greek clubs. The Jewish clubs are more like the black or hispanic clubs in that way

Dunkel and Dutton (2016) found that Jews and Baptists obtained equally high scores on a measure of in-group preference, which included questions about whether they strongly identify with their religious group and prefer to associate with other members of their group.
-
That's possible. Baptists are higher than average among whites. However, in colleges I see strong Jewish groups but little interest in Baptist groups.
-
At my college I never met a single Baptist.
-
Geography? Southern Baptists are dominant in the South; most Jews live in the North.
-
Although I should note that, unless you went to a very small or specialized college, you probably *did* meet some Baptists, they just didn't mention their religious beliefs to you. It's not usually a conversation-opener.
-
Crazy theory: even Baptists are smart enough to figure out they should avoid talking about religion on college campuses.
