His point is, if you're part of a group attacking people and making them fear for their lives (and impeding traffic by blocking the road, by the way), he doesn't have much sympathy.
(If something is actually going to harm you, fear makes sense. There's not really shame in avoiding a losing battle.)

A no win proposition. Anybody gets hurt? "Nazis" & "White Supremacists" will get the blame as scapegoats. Any "Nazi" martyrs to antifa terrorism? Don't expect any sympathetic coverage. Antifa will "punch Nazis" with impunity. No hearts or minds will be won.

Yep. Not fair, but that's how it is currently

If police are smart they will not allow any Antifa writhing a mile of these people. Let them do their rally and leave, I'm hoping few show. Police always let the groups connect and fight. They must take some blame along with mayors who give stand down order.

The police *want* the conflict. They wanted antifa to attack the UTR protestors last year so they could arrest the UTR people for defending themselves.
-
Didn't the govenor or mayor encourage Antifa last year?
-
The FBI listed Antifa as a terrorist group, so why isn't anyone shutting them down? Would we allow ISIS to destroy a US city and attack people?
-
Antifa's ideology is officially endorsed by the vast majority of the power structure
