I am not opposed to our country offering *some* relief to people fleeing credible violence, but the other side of this debate appears to think that we only exist as a nation to serve as a safe house for anyone around the world who happens to be unsatisfied with their lot in life.

*some* *temporary* charity is ok. Maybe they could be kept in camps on the border for a short time.

It is a big difference between allowing people with literally no where to turn some sort of temporary, monitored asylum and granting them citizenship.
