Mr Andrews also said no school community, parent or teacher has raised the issue with him during his 20 years in Victorian parliament. "What is the problem we're trying to solve here? I don't think this debate is doing any of those young Victorians any good, or their parents."

Premier Daniel Andrews on whether he supports transgender children competing against other kids in school sports competitions. "Seems to me that the adults in this debate are altogether more cruel than the kids, and that's a damning indictment on those who are pushing this."

Australia will hit 7000 covid deaths tomorrow. Half of those in the last three months. A tad over two thirds since the start of the year. Yet apart from the politicians catching it during the campaign, no mention of it. At all.

My friend says to me “my daughter’s sick - vomiting with a runny nose BUT I can’t test her yet as we have SOOO many things to do and places to be this weekend and we don’t have time for iso. If she’s still sick on Monday I’ll test then”. And this is why we are all screwed 🤬😡😱

Oh God it's awful isn't it? I worked at the ABC when giants like Kerry O'Brien, Andrew Olle, Quentin Dempster, Mark Colvin, Peter Cave and Maxine McKew were there. It was a source of pride to be an ABC journalist. It's virtually unrecognisable now.

Seriously, who believes this is about women’s sport? This is about bigotry. If bigotry is your thing, there’s a woman in Warringah with some corflutes for your yard.

I work in a prison themed escape room, and yesterday was the closest I’ve ever got to breaking character in the opening speech. As I listed the crimes the group had been accused of, one of them looked at me and calmly said “We’re just normal men. We’re just innocent men.” 10/10.

How is it possible that in 2022 that a major political party has an election promise of “better food for those in aged care”? What sort of society do we live in, that this is even an issue, let alone an election platform?

I don't claim to know everything when it comes to the pandemic. That's what a narcissist would do. But I've been working in hospitals for 34 years including the microbiology lab for 17 years & a major metropolitan hospital for the last 16 years. I know this: wear a f*cking mask.

Media mogul Kerry Stokes defends paying for suspects’ lawyers at Brereton war crimes inquiry cos he felt it “unfair soldiers were brought before the inquiry without representation.” So why, of 200+ soldiers interviewed, did he only fund Ben Roberts-Smith’s alleged accomplices?

The climate crisis is the top issue this election. It should be dominating every news cycle. But what are we talking about instead? Trans women in sport. An invented problem, a transphobic dog whistle. The world is burning, yet we trans ppl are somehow the real threat? Come on
