    I hope nobody is confused about what this is. Barr says it’s to protect the FBI and to keep DOJ from going down the 2016 rabbit hole. That’s bullshit — it’s to hamstring the FBI, and to make sure that none of Trump’s allies are investigated without Barr knowing about it.

    AG Barr has said all investigations of 2020 presidential candidates need his sign off. Yesterday he issued guidance that Senate, House & campaign finance inquiries would require DoJ leadership approval too.
