I need 2-3 vials of each per month. That’s more than what I get in disability per month. This is why diabetics are dying. It’s 2020, “rationing” and “meds” shouldn’t be in the same sentence!

Needless to say, I left without insulin and in tears. Now what?

I’ve rationed and people have told me “maybe you wouldn’t need so much insulin or no insulin at all if you ate better.” I wish that’s how it worked. Insulin is REQUIRED to keep us alive. I really hope someone will see this and help you out. You’re in my prayers.

Thank you! I’m a type 3c so my entire pancreas has been removed. A diet won’t grow me a new one! Hahaha. Some people, ignorance is bliss.

Wow! Thank you! Have you ordered from them before? It makes me a little nervous going through different routes.

Have you considered using an insulin pump? Part B ded = $195, then 20%

Wow, we’ve talked about it before but I didn’t realize that it made that much of a difference price wise! I just assumed all of the equipment would have made it more expensive. Thank you so much for sharing!

I apologize if this is unrelated to your situation (& therefore more noise in an already emotional time). Could there be a factor of it being the start of the New Year? Whenever my deductibles reset January 1, I'm in for a series of massive bills. Best wishes to you.

No worries at all! Thank you so much for taking the time. No the list of formulas that Medicare cover have changed, they no longer cover Lantus or Novolog. So they are appealing but that doesn’t help me today, I don’t have any left.
