The issue seems to be, you want to prove that LO is OK...I work as a management consultant. There's no way i can shift to LO and remain competitive in the market.
No. My position is that LO is good for 90% of normal use cases. There are cases where the are gaps, but they're the minority. At the end of the day, if you want to, you can make it work for you. This is the effort that Windows users don't seem to want to make that I spoke of.
I just did, but you missed it... SmartArt, for one. High quality built-in themes, fonts and color combinations, for another. Ability to edit pictures in Presentation...
Fonts can be bought. Themes, yes. There missing. Editing images isn't really a deal breaker with the GIMP. Editing an image externally isn't that big a deal. Art work may be missing, but can surely be bought. At the end of the day, you can always make it work. If you want to.
