That's exactly what I meant when I said that Windows users don't really want to make any kind of half serious effort to move away from Windows.
Have been using Ubuntu and LM for years now. Instead of blaming the users for their alleged lack of seriousness, why not create something which is irresistible? People will shift. But sadly, doesn't happen enough in the open source world.
Honestly? I can't believe you just said that. Instead of blaming the alleged lack of software on Linux, why not ask your employer to fund development? And lobby against Microsoft when they hijack standards bodies and prevent open software from becoming compatible.
