Your initial interpretation of the article was very smug. It doesn’t matter where you’re moving to, people are rarely happy being forced to pick up their whole lives and start again somewhere else or else lose their jobs. You’re trivializing a serious problem for these workers.

Yeah! I too have been called an elitist, which is obvious because I went to public schools, went to university on full fee support because of low parental income. And those calling me this - always rich boys who went to private school and a top university!
