Thankfully State employees are working and getting paid through this storm. Federal employees overseeing the safety of airports and flying are not getting paid. Essential DOT employes are illegally being forced to work without pay and non essential are furloughed.

State government agents are getting paid. The government of Missouri isn’t shutdown and probably wouldn’t have any big reason to shutdown in the foreseeable future, since it’s under a party trifecta.
