Something I learned recently: You can talk to your primary care doctor about mental health! I didn't realize that was an option. I was having irregular but heavy panic attacks and difficulty concentrating, so she recommended I try Zoloft. I think it's going well!

A tough thing with medication is the trial and error period. Some may not work for you. Some may make things worse! I started by taking half a pill of Zoloft (it seemed good) then moved to the full pill and it got REAL BAD. Back on half and it's good again. Just gotta keep trying

And medication can't fix everything! I've worked in time to meditate daily with help from the Headspace app. I like it. It's not cheesy. Just yesterday I also scheduled in "worry time" where I vent to a journal about my issues to further help process them -- a rec from my doctor.

I take Zoloft as well for anxiety issues that leads to daily panic attacks ( I actually went to the ER once cause I thought it was a heart attack, just a really bad panic attack though ). It has worked well for, along with jogging each morning and night/meditation therapy daily.

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! I'm glad you've found what works for you though ^^ I need to get more physical exercise into my routine. It's been tough. I recently started scheduling in a "worry time" where I journal about what's troubling me.

I actually had a VERY similar asthma/panic attack moment a few years ago! Happened in New York during a work day for the first time and had no idea what was happening. -
that's how I was diagnosed too!
