I think he may be mistaking you for hostile and not just a passive aggressive cynic.

Upper class? lol! I'm making an okay living off of a 2-year associates degree, but way to avoid the topic and head straight for the personal attacks. Oh, and passive-aggressives are absolutely hostile, that's what the "aggressive" part means. He doesn't like rich people, period.

This is good, lol: pas·sive-ag·gres·sive adj of or denoting a type of behavior or personality characterized by indirect resistance to the demands of others and an avoidance of direct confrontation, as in procrastinating, POUTING, or misplacing important materials. Very fitting

Definition of sarcasm: 1) A sharp and often satirical or ironic utterance designed to cut or give pain. 2) A mode of satirical wit depending for its effect on bitter, caustic, and often ironic language that is usually directed against an individual.

The "ironic" part of the definition is important here.

Irony and sarcasm are synonymous. Explain why you THINK it's important here. This is your big chance to shed light on a dark part of the world. Please, by all means, enlighten me.

Because he was being ironic with the slave stuff in general. He was passive aggressively being sarcastic about the little bit of truth that ultimately we are all slaves and the general idea that any country's authoritarian boundaries are still what we are essentially chained to.

I dont have any hard feelings for Ned. He just got way more serious about the slave stuff than necessary. If we were all sitting around a campfire everyone would be on the same page.

See, Rey... there you go... getting personal again. If we were sitting around a campfire and you said that, I'd probably smash a bottle against your head... but I don't drink. So it would be an entirely sober act.
