So what, she is going to put 500 bucks towards a house and 250 bucks towards college for each kid. The money is paltry to the point of irrelevance when put against the actual costs.

Going to side with Tur on this one. The idea that $1,000 is going to be a difference maker on buying a house AND spending for college tuition is at best misguided
