    These are my observations as well.

    Here's what I've observed: People in favor of the Oxford comma often are stubborn and intolerant of the other side. People who don't use the Oxford comma generally have a more "live and let live" attitude and don't cast judgement on the other side. Thoughts?

    One of my favorite activities since moving back to PA is to sit at a quiet lunch spot with my mom, and tell her all about how 45 is messing everything up for the working class, knowing full well all the Trump voters around us are listening.

    I dislike the term “SEO” because there is a lot of voodoo associated with it, this idea that you can game Google. You can’t. Google is actively changing the way it works all the time so you can’t game it. Just write good headlines.

    When someone hasn't read a classic book, I always try to say "Oh! What a treat you have ahead of you!" rather than "I can't believe you haven't read this!" because no one wants to be shamed into reading. We should lead with our delight in literature, not our pretentiousness.

    Hi. I’ve been a professional editor for 20 years. People pay me to teach them grammar. I just wanted to remind you: If someone says something asinine and makes a grammatical error in doing so, DON’T PICK ON THEIR FUCKING GRAMMAR. Address the weakness of their assertion.

    I always want to use the word "convergence" when speaking about how my disparate skill sets are aligning for a project, but I stop myself because I think, "Wait! Maybe it's 'confluence' instead?" And I'm still not really sure what to use.
