For insurance purposes the repaired cars have to be driven a certain mileage and so once a month she does it for a day. She also then can empathise with her customers on salary, customer and condition. Amazing entrepreneur.

How did she get funding to grow the fleet? Just from Uber earnings?!?

Maybe good credit and a friendly bank... was asking myself the same thing.

We’re in a golden age for entrepreneurship and freelancing, built on the backs of companies like Uber,

The sounds so amazing. A nerdy thought I had was that Uber's great growth rate maybe became an implicit VC deal for her and she went for it! Also lends credence to the phrase "driver partners". Cool!
