Has locked her car doors as soon as she has sat down. Has avoided the top deck at night. Has got off a Tube stop earlier. Has sighed with relief on getting home safely while locking the door. Has told a cabbie to drop her off slightly further down the road.

We need a campaign, we need to do something about this. It needs to change. How do we do this? How do we start the proccess? We need to get together and stop people from taking away our safety and freedom to live our lives.

I think a lot is going to be down to the behaviour of men. Men Need to be more thoughtful and understanding of how women feel in these situations, and adjust accordingly. I suspect I’ll get buried for that, but I don’t care.
