Good. This is a major big deal as it has been at $7.25 since 2009. It has been estaimated that about 85% of these workers are woman. And of course that means families in poverty and needing food assistance and Medicaid. The failure to pay a living wage hurts everyone.

One group of people who feels a bit threatened though when we discussed minimum wages are seniors who are poor and on fixed incomes as they fear that the prices will go up and they will be unable to afford food, housing, etc. so cost of living increase for SS is needed too.
