If my son hadn’t gotten scholarships & grants and only left me with 800$ a semester I would have made him go to community college. It’s not where you get your education but what you can get out of it! Good luck to her

AND... TN, a red state, gives two free years of college to any adult resident (no matter the age). This is something all states need to follow or beat.
