I agree. There are many parallels to the Nixon Watergate investigations except for one major point, 1974 H.Res 803. The Senate and Congress stepped up to protect our country.

I remember, I had just entered college when the hearings began. Never thought I'd say this about Tricky Dick, but his actions were nothing compared to what Trump & cohorts have been up to. Makes even Nixon look like a patriot in comparison. Nixon never leveraged the KGB in WG.
