Of course! Hyper-partisanship is something that is a big issue that has stopped progress. That's why we need to advance Common Sense for Common Ground (its my slogan!). Most American's are between the 20 yard lines in politics, and very few people in Congress are. That's wrong 1/

Take the #CleanDreamAct as an example. It has massive bipartisan support. But now Donald Trump and Dana Rohrabacher want to tie it to building a wall - which he told us Mexico would pay for. It's wrong. We need to work together where we can to move our Country forward. #

My heart breaks for the thousands of senseless gun deaths we have every year. This is another perfect example of why we need Common Sense for Common Ground. 1/

We need leadership that will work to pass Universal Background Checks, Close the Boyfriend Loophole, Pass No Fly No Buy, and so many more common sense reforms. I support what we have done here in California and think CA is a great national example 2/

In Congress I look forward to working with great groups like @GiffordsCourage @MomsDemand @Pride_Fund and others to stand up to the NRA (and of course, I won't take their money). #
